Travels Accross the U.S....

What a trip! So much crazy fun! We left July 1st on Sunday for your first flight! Ah! It was awesome! You were so good! Maybe the first flight wasn't the most roomy and quiet thing you've ever experienced, but the southwest crew sure loved you! All your aunts and uncles loooooved you! They couldn't believe how big you were! We took pictures with Jylare, Daddy's best friend's wife! She's awesome! Then we went to the 4th of July parade, so loud and crazy! All the aunts and uncles met up there, and Grandma Shelly and Grandpa Johnny got to see you after 3 long months of being apart! She cried, and you guys had some tender moments...

And then some really fun ones! Everyone had so much fun with you and

 trying to make you smile was every one's goal!

After the parade we went to see Daddy's side of the family! All your uncles and aunts were there, including Grandma Pam and Grandpa Ken. The day looked so promising, until you got there, and you had poopy pants all day! You did miss both your naps, so I should of seen it coming, but everyone still loved seeing you!

Then you wouldn't believe, we went 4 wheelin! It's not really 4 wheelin because it fit 4 on there and it was kind of caged in, but it was so much and you loooooved it! We went at night for 3 hours up behind Park City, and it was beautiful. Everyone had so much fun. The boys were all really in their element. Prime activity for them really.... in between all the shopping for the ladies!

We then of course hung out some more with the king side of the family for Auntie Kandis' birthday party! We also went to The Spaghetti Factory for the usual family dinner with the Shiflet side!

And then we made our way back to California! It was so much fun to take one more week with the family and get some one on one time with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma Shelly needed her Greyson fix! We played in the pool and just hung out! And they were renovating the house so it was crazy there, but it was very pretty and pretty fun!

This trip was your first plane trip you've been on! You were so good! But I cant speak for the Gentleman who decided to sit in the middle of the row when there were 5 others middle seats and I had you to feed. But whatever, I'm sure he liked you kicking him when I was trying to feed you, and you spitting up on him...I'm sure he didn't regret his decision at all! But the rest of the flight to Utah was a breeze! You slept the whole time! Then from California to Austin TX you were amazing, and we had plenty of room to play! And you loved laying with all the passengers, and they loved you! The funnest part has yet to come! When we got home, we had to pack up and leave Texas the next week. It was crazy! But we did it! We got home Sunday the 15th and left Saturday the 20th! Daddy graduated on that Thursday from training, before we left from Texas! We are so proud of him!

We had so much fun road trippin it up! We first went to Auntie Tiffany's house in Houston! She's really your mommy's cousin, but everyones an auntie! We had so much fun! Your cousin Trent is so cute! He's just 3 months older than you! And Zoe is so stinkin cute! She was so tender with you and loved playing with you!

So cute! After Houston, we went to New Orleans! It was so amazing! So much culture! The food and music was amazing, and its beautiful! Even after the hurricane, the city is still so beautiful and alive! While we were driving, you really see how the city is practically sitting on water!



And you were great in the car...

Right before we came home we went to Atlanta, which was nice coming from New Orleans, because it was so hot and humid there, we soaked our clothes through with sweat from the humidity! Nasty nast! As for Atlanta, we will have several years to go back and enjoy it more. Its only a couple hours away! So far you love it here! We've been to the lake already and the doggies looooved it! They were jumpin into the water and racing all around! So funny, they didn't like the ocean so we definately didnt expect that! It's so pretty and green here! We love it! And the fish in the lake were not shy at all! They swam around our feet and you just sat and watched them! You probably could have sat there for hours and watched them and take everything in! So cute...

Your just our lil man! Its hard as parents to see our lil 8 lb 11oz baby grow so fast, but we will say, you fill out quite nicely! We cant wait for more adventures to share with you and watch you discover new things! We looooooooove you!
