5 Months! Ahh!

How could this happen?! You're almost 6 months old! Almost half of the year has gone by! You cant be a 1/2 year old yet! Not happening! It's amazing watching you do new things everyday! I'm so blessed to be a stay at home mommy. I wouldnt want to miss a moment!

Lately you've been doin all sorts of things with your tongue! You are movin it all around  and a lot of the time you stick it out of the side of your mouth, and gum down on it. I would say bite, but you have no teeth! Thank goodness, not really looking forward to that as I'm nursing you... Yikes! You also started sucking on your bottom lip, its very cute! And everyone else thinks so too! Girls say hi to you all the time and you just curl up and smile and get all shy, it's adorable! You're such a lil' ladies man! And we left you with a babysitter for the first time! Mommy and Daddy went to the Army ball and our friend is pregnant with a boy, her second child, and wanted to watch you! She had a blast, and so did you. She has a little girl and you're so fascinated with her and the way she moves! You're also fascinated with people eating! You think its the most amazing and strangest thing! You'll look at the food and want to grab it, and then you follow it with your eyes as we go to take a bite and we look at you and you smile real big! You just want to be a big boy! You actually love sitting in your BOB stroller and peg stroller all by yourself, no more sitting in the car seat any more unless we are driving! You love sitting up and looking around at whats going on! P.S. You are so close to sitting up by yourself. You love it! Also, your doing very well in tummy time, you just chill sittin on your elbows now and look around and are getting your knees underneath you, you just gotta push up and get going... sooooo close! And poor lil guy, you had your 4 month checkup a few weeks ago and you were so upset. I remember I used to cry everytime you got shots, and this time, I held back the tears while my eyes were watering up... Its so hard seeing you in pain I can't take it! But I know it will keep you healthy, so I guess it makes it a lil easier! At your 4 month check-up you were 17 pounds exactly! Big boy! That's the 68th percentile! You were also 65.5 cm, which put you in the 57th percentie, and your head circumference was 43.3 cm, the 59th percentile. You're just a growing boy! At least we know you could be average size height, being that mommy and daddy aren't exactly the tallest people! And we know, that you're not the fatest baby in the world, if you were you'd be the cutest. You're up there, but still perfect! You still love the pool, and your baths, of course! You love listening to mommy talk on the phone! When I'm talking to Grandma Shelly or one of your aunts, you just look at the phone and smile like you recognize they're voices...maybe you do! But it's so cute! You lately have been laughing so much, you're getting so much more playful! We tickle your stomach and under your arms and it gets ya everytime! Then we kiss your mouth and kiss your stomach and wiggle our noses on it, you think it's the funniest thing! You think the puppies are hilarious! We have a video of them just sitting in front of you, literally doing nothing, and you're laughing up a storm! So stinkin funny! We just love making you smile and laugh!

Ugh! You're so cute. Mommy loves playing dress up with you! The latest obsession: suspenders. If dressing you in every kind of bottoms that come with suspenders is wrong...then I don't want to be right. You look so stinkin cute in them! I can't help myself! We love you soooooo much Greyson! Thank you for sharing 5 beautiful months with us! We can't wait to see what the next 5 hold! You're our whole world, and we can't imagine a greater love than the one we have for you...
