Oh, this is just you..spittin spit bubbles and trying to talk, in your cute sevens jeans outfit. I can't get over your diesel tennies and bandanna bib either! You are so stylin...and sooo handsome. Well, well, well... I guess we will have to start listing off all the changes that have went down this past month. Of course, the day after I made your post, on the 17th of April, you smacked your lips. Not only did you smack your lips, but you startled yourself. It was so cute, you smacked your lips, blinked really hard (we were having a little date with the mirror, which we do daily...), and then you couldn't stop smacking them! It was the cutest thing. And as you can guess, you are making a whole bunch of new sounds and noises. You want to talk soooo bad. "AHHHOOOO's, mmmmmaaaooo's...the list goes on, but you want to tell us all about it! Along with that...probably the most hilarious of them all, you started doing an owl-tigger-scooby-do laugh. Its sooo funny! Yeah, we got it on tape, don't you worry. We thought it would be just a one time thing, but no, you do it all the time, and sometimes mix it in with your sounds. It's so cute, we laugh every time.
Oh man, soo cute! That rings me to your new lil bouncer/ walker we got you... you loooove it. Its a big red car and you can be put in there even when you're not the happiest... you love the mirrors and the lights and songs and sounds. You look so cute in it too. The first time you were in it, we were unpacking and I looked back to see how you were doing and you moved across the kitchen! You love taking your little steps in there, and then bouncing when your just playin around. And you can see so far away now, around 5 feet! At least, when we are smiling from 5 feet you smile back, and any further you just look at us... but we dont mind that either! Just looking back when you were so tiny and could only see us if we were right by your sweet little face... your just growin up! Also for play time, we put you on your belly and do some tummy time...not your favorite of them all, but you can push up with your arms straight and you can roll over! Making big strides! Also when we are playing one of your favorite games..."this little piggie" or "I love you thiiiiiisssss much" you laugh and giggle and your face brightens up as soon as I sit you down in my lap to play... you giggle and I come in to kiss you and you open your mouth! Which I love! And sometimes I go in to kiss you and you catch my lip mid air (bc your mouth is open), and start sucking on my lip, as if you were eating! So stinkin funny! Sometimes I cant get my lip out because your sucking so hard, and sometimes it's so funny I just let you! I can't help it, you're so cute. And also you are so ticklish now, after we play this little piggie, I tickle you for a little bit and your giggle is so hilarious, I cant stop laughing. Then we can't tell if you're laughing because I'm laughing, if you're laughing at me, or if it's both! And when playtimes all done, at the end of the day and we're changing you, you smile and laugh when we put you in a nice clean shirt! You love it! I think it's something about it going over your head and brushing your hair back, you think it's so fun! And then bath time! Oh my goodness bath time! You have grown to looooove your baths! You love the warm water, and for the past month (since you've outgrown you puj tub), (my baby is too pudgy for his puj tub?!), I've been taking baths with you and you loooove it! I sit in Indian style and you sit in my lap and you just chill and it relaxes you. I give you a bath when you have a stummy ache, or your cranky, or you're messy... or what have you, and you love it. You could have baths all day. And after, I sing you a lullaby and feed you and it puts you right to sleep around 10. And sometimes you sleep for 11 hours! Sometimes it's 10, others 9, but Mommy loves how you sleep! And you've been taking naps now too! One in the morning/noon, and one in the afternoon. And sometimes more in between! You love your naps! Gets you all rejuvenated and ready to play some more!
And your looks change everyday...some days you look just like mommy, and some days exactly like daddy. But one thing's for sure, you have mommy's ears...I'm sorry. Yes, they stick out a little. Daddy's stick straight to his head, and mommy's don't. They aren't like dumbo, thank goodness, we'd love you anyway, but you're adorable. You have daddy's hair line, and a mixture of daddy's hair and mine. I had a ton of hair when I was little, and daddy had like...none, so you have a fair amount, but, look at the "back o yo head!" You have tons of hair on the bottom! So cute! That's you on your changing table, which you love getting changed on, and lastly, while I was taking pictures of you, you laughed so hard you fell over....so funny. Just recently, you started reaching for us when we go to pick you up. You are, most of the time, in your bouncer/walker, and both of your hands pop out, and you reach out for us, it melted our hearts when you did it for the first time! Well to be honest, it melts our hearts every time... And also, mommy was eating a strawberry, probably 2 days ago, and you were looking the other way, and your head turned around and you spotted the strawberry, and kid you not, you said, "uh, uh, uh!" and you pulled my hand towards you and opened your mouth! Amazing! You must really want some food! Your not quite ready yet, but we do know your hungry! hahaha... You are such a blessing and bring meaning to our lives little Grey! We love you so so so much! Happy 4 month birthday!
