Christmas 2013

My was that a doosie. It was such a fun trip, but we decided to drive, literally, across the United States! It was long. We decided to keep the dogs here, and some nice folks from the ward watched them, The Spencers, it was beautiful. It was a long drive, but it was fun. We were able to stop in Utah and see the King family, which was long overdue. It was so nice to see everyone! And then we went to the Shiflet family in California, which was nice and warm, compared to the negative degree weather in Utah. It was an amazing holiday break. It was your first christmas when you actually knew what was going on, you were so excited to open presents, and really excited to see what you got. Except for the part where we waited just a tad too long to open presents and you got a little antsy and saw your girl cousins presents and wanted them all instead of yours because yours were all wrapped. Whoops. Looking back at it, its really funny, but at the time being, maybe not so much... like, maybe because we spent all night until 5 in the morning putting together this radio flyer bike/scooter combo and you WOULD NOT get on it for the life of you! It was tantrum city. You eventually warmed up to it, now you love it. And you figured out how to make the vroom vroom sound, so cute. You learned  "shhhhh, quiet quiet", its so funny. You started doing it at family prayer several months ago, but you did it in church and it was hilarious.

And we managed to go to a BYU game before we left, like right before we left, literally, in San Francisco. It was SO SO SO  much fun. You LOVE watching sports. Its like your watching yo gabba gabba or something, your eyes are glued. We would try to take pictures and you couldnt take your eyes off the field.

And we got a love tunnel before we left, just like old times.... We had so much fun! We love being with family, we look forward to moving back there to be close with them all the time!
