I guess you had fun at the end there, when you could see the animals but the strange things weren't right next to ya. You were so cute. I can't wait to take you next time to learn new things!
Then we obviously had to have a cake eating experience...
You were so cute and dainty with it, you didn't rip into it like I thought you would, so we decided to decorate you with it... so fun. You had fun feeding the dogs too...
Then on Friday we had a lil birthday party for you and a lot of friends came! You got hooked up with toys! I had a lot of fun decorating for your first mustache bash! I made really cute garland and strung all our memories all over the house for everyone to see...
For our birthday weekend, we were off to see the biggest house in America called the Biltmore House. It was beautiful and we had so much fun. Asheville was a fun lil get away and something special we had wanted to do for a while. The Biltmore was so beautiful, almost like a castle, I felt like I was in Italy or something!
As fun as it is to get away, it's always nice to be home. Here are some silly photos of you on the last day of you being 0 years old... the day before your birthday.
Baby Greyson... (because you will always be my baby) we love you so so much. We have so much fun with you everyday. You make our world brighter and our hearts lighter. You teach us so much about life, while WE are teaching you! You are so bright, so handsome, so silly, and so loving. Being mom is so much more fulfilling than I could of imagined, I love being your mommy. You are so much more independent than you used to be, my lil boy turned into a toddler before I could blink! This will be a fun year! Full of talking, running, and all sorts of boy things! So much fun! Some other new things goin on...
-You follow me around the house when I clean..you love the vacuum, the broom, the swiffer... you're silly!
- You know when your about to do something you shouldn't and look at me. Like "mom, I going to throw all this stuff off, and I want to see what you are gonna do about it." Sometimes if you have something you shouldn't you'll start walking away really fast and then end up crawlin because you fall after a lil bit. But it is so cute.
-You play chase.
-You are a lil tease. With me and the ladies!
-You're a chic magnet, you smile at all the girls, and when we went to the park the other day, you followed a little girl around the whole playground!
-You LOVE swords! or everything that could be used as one...
-You love balloons! They're light so you can take them anywhere, and they bounce, and they're big. You have been playing with them for almost a week now!
-You love watching big kids play and want to watch and follow them. Its so cute when we are at church and at the playground. We could be there for hours just playing and watchin.
-About a week after you started walking you learned how to stand up without pulling yourself up to do it. So then you started falling just to stand up by yourself!
-You want to walk everywhere! No sittin down for you. You can stay in your stroller for a little bit, but after a while you're itchin to get out and walk. You walk under everything (tables, chairs), over and around. You love walking in-between the kitchen chairs and around the table. Your crazy! You just go go go!
-Lately you love pears, avocados, smoothies, cheesy potatoes, three cheese macaroni, chicken, chicken salad sandwiches (mommies favorite thing to eat too!), pizza, eggs, pancakes, and french toast! You practically love everything mommy and daddy are eating...
-BUT if you don't like something you will definitely let us know! You just spit it on out, and you have no problem doing it either!
-You make the cutest "this is sour/nasty" faces. I love them all...
-You love makin spit bubbles. No, I don't mean drooling, I mean making spit by bubblin your lips together and it going down your chin still in bubbles. It hilarious!
-You love playing with your shoes, your velcro on your high top sneaks, and your velcro and laces on your boots. Maybe its a game for you to try to take off your shoes... you loved to do it with your moccasins!
-You just love yo gabba gabba, you will stop in your tracks if you hear them playin!
-You throw tantrums already! And I can't help but laugh! You arch your back and make it so I cant pick you up by sliding out of my arms and your face is just so cute and funny... You probably get more annoyed that I'm laughing.But, Oh well!
-You love all your family! Aunts, Uncles, Cousins,Grandma's and Grandpas, you know that they love you and have so much fun with them!
-You love skyping and facetiming!
-Everytime we play blocks or puzzles, you love to undo them so we can't really play, or you knock them down before we can. But it's cute. You do the same while I'm putting away dishes from the dushwasher or books on the shelf, you grab them and drop them behind you, it's just so cute. But this is why I can't actually do those things, I can only play and pretend, because you are the ultimate destroyer! Little stinker!
-Lately we have only been able to get ya down for one nap a day! You just can't slow down for a second!
-The other day we were in the grocery store and you fell asleep sitting up! It was so funny! You have never done that! But I definitely loved it. It was so sad that you were so tired but so, so funny.
I think that's about it! For now... you do new things everyday! There will be so much more next month! We love love love you Greyson! Oh how I wish I could rewind time and have my little infant back! But I know I have so many more new memories to make and build, and I am so excited for them! With my big boy lil toddler! The past year has been such a treat and privilege to parent you and take care of you every minute. This next year will be so different, but I have a feeling it will be crazy fun! Everyday is one more day that we love you more and more. Your my lil pal... our lil bud! We love you Grey!
