2 Months!!!

Oh my goodness you are the cutest little boy I've ever seen!...ummm, yes. Babay is gettin big! We went in for your 2 month appointment on friday, the 16th, your birthday, and man was it a doosie! We found out you gained 5 pounds since your last appointment! You are 13 pounds, well 12 pounds 15 oz to be exact, but who is counting...just kidding, I am. And you are 3 inches longer, making you 23 1/4 inches long, you're growing so fast. And then, the big bang. You got your first round of shots! You were not happy...and neither was mommy. The nurse just stuck ya real quick to get it done with, but to me it was like she jammed that thing in you...who am I to talk, I hoot and hollar everytime I have to get a shot...seriously, the girls over at quest labs know me. But is it embarrassing that I started crying too? Maybe, but I will cry everytime with you, you can count on it, its a curse. But that day I was so sad for you...my poor baby. However, the shots are far more safe than the sicknesses they help prevent, we did it because we love you and want you to be healthy. And MAAAAN are you healthy. We love how you fill out... you're getting the cuttest lil legs and arms... our lil chunka dunk!

Yes, yes, yes. Oh my gosh look how cute that baby is! Your cute lil squirrel cowlick, your adorable feet, your pudgy lil arms, chunky lil legs, and your sweet lil dimples on your hands.... it's ba-na-nas! I die! And that's not all. We've discovered some things about you! You love when we outline your lips with our fingers...you smile. You love the song "You Are My Sunshine" it makes you smile and GIGGLE. It's a full on giggle now! So cute! You love beautiful Monterey/Carmel and its beautiful sunshine and though we have yet to take you to the beach, we will before we leave...yes, we leave for Texas in 3 weeks! We are so excited to move on to the next step, but it is a bittersweet as well because we have to leave Gradndma Shelly and Grandpa Johnny. We have had such precious moments with you. You smile a lot more, and are such a happy baby.

You have been sleeping a lot longer through the night, sometimes it's a 7 hour stretch, sometimes 5...but I'll take what I can get! Beggars can't be choosers! And who can complain when you get to wake up to such a happy and handsome face! You love your lil swing, and you'll take any chance to play with grandma Shelly. You are almost out of your size 1 diapers, you probably are but we have some more to get through...so it's a lil bit of a stretch. You are in your 3 month clothes! You still fit in your 0-3's, but you're agrowin'! Man do you look so cute in your clothes and your lil shoes! Mommy might have a shopping problem because she buys clothes for you all the time... but I cant help it...your so studly.
